How to install C/C++ in Visual Studio Code on Windows 10 [2021 Update] using MinGW w64 GNU Compiler

Hello Everyone! Today in this video I am going to step by step guide you How to download and install C/C++ in Visual Studio Code using MinGW-w64 (Minimalist GNU for Windows) toolset (gcc g++ gdb) on Windows 10 OS.

After that, I am also going to show you How to Create your First Hello World Program in both C and Cpp programming and then how-to compile and run them.

Now How to install Visual Studio Code?
Step 1. First You need to download Visual Studio Code for windows 10. For that just go to the following link:
https://code.visualstudio.com/
This page will lead to the Visual Studio Code download page.

Here find the exe setup installation file as shown in the video and click on it to download.
Now after downloading Visual Studio Code save the file to the disk and follow the next step for installation.

Step 2. Install Visual Studio Code
Double click to run the Visual Studio Code installation file. Just follow the prompt as shown in the video (https://youtu.be/BK_ciBOXWr0) and install Visual Studio Code in your OS.

Now How to install MinGW w64?
Step 3. First You need to download MinGW for windows 10. For that just go to the following link:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw/
This page will lead to the MinGW Sourceforge download page.

Here find the exe setup installation file as shown in the video and click on it to download.
Now after downloading MinGW save the file to the disk and follow the next step for installation.

Step 4. Install MinGW
Double click to run the MinGW installation file. Just follow the prompt as shown in the video (https://youtu.be/BK_ciBOXWr0) and install MinGW in your OS.

Step 5. Now you need to set the environment variables, so for which you need to paste the bin path. If you face any difficulty just follow the video.
