iPad GameDev With Swift Playgrounds | 'ShapeGame' is Starting to Come Together

I've been challenging myself to build a game using Apple's free iPad app Swift Playgrounds. In this third installment I'm continuing to build on the core concepts of the game and iterate on the design.

There are a lot of challenges with game design with Swift Playgrounds. Because I'm also trying to incorporate some SwiftUI / SpriteKit combinations I'm learning a lot of new stuff.

This week I've added a timer to the game to drive the action and add some pressure on the player. It's not currently really functional (nothing happens if the timer runs out right now) but it's there for the future. I also changed how I'm displaying the player's current goal.

My hope for next time is to build on this concept and have a more robust game play mechanic that is fun, challenging and something I can build onto as the development continues.
