Today’s release marks another step in our grand unified theory of UI development with @Kotlin by JetBrains! We have a lot of news to talk about for our multiplatform UI efforts, including Compose for Desktop and Compose for Web.

In collaboration with @Google, JetBrains is bringing the technology to new places. With Compose Multiplatform, you can use the same declarative approach and APIs used to build modern Android applications to create user interfaces for desktop apps and apps running in the browser, powered by Kotlin on the JVM, and Kotlin/JS.

Today we want to tell you the story of Compose Multiplatform and our plans for future. You will hear Jim Sproch (https://twitter.com/JimSproch), senior software engineer at Google, who originally proposed the creation of the Compose framework, and is driving its development, Nikolay Igotti who kicked off and drives Compose Multiplaform efforts at JetBrains, Roman Elizarov (https://twitter.com/relizarov) who leads the Kotlin projects at JetBrains that contributes a lot to Compose technology, Andrey Rudenko (https://twitter.com/prepor), who was the first developer that joined Compose Multiplatform team and Sebastian Aigner (https://twitter.com/sebi_io) who is a Developer Advocate for the Compose technology.
